Problem: You are experiencing an error when you either first launch the program, or try to activate the license. The text of the error message is similar to:

"Could not load file or assembly 'System.Core, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=...."

Solution: You need to close any open instances of My Journal then download and install the Microsoft .NET 3.5 framework. Click on the following link to download and install the .NET 3.5 framework: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en
